Two Toned Silk Kimono Jacket
A lovely circa 1970s Japanese fine silk Kimono jacket. It's made from pure silk and has a wholly hand-tied shibori batik finish to the outer (the patterns and texture of the jacket are the results of meticulous handwork - each 'point' of the pattern has been tied off by hand before the fabric is dyed resulting in a textural organic finish) The jacket is fully lined. Due to the intricate nature, shibori is one of the most expensive and labour intensive ways of dying fabric. Learn about Shibori here.
